Today

The short list that wants a decision, not the whole inventory. Measured on one real vault: every listing that closed did so within seven days of being found, median two, so an unreviewed match is a perishable thing. Today leads with the few best by fit (Shortlist, or Pass with a reason), then what is aging, what closed while unread, packets already started, applications in flight with the person to write to, and applications that have gone quiet: applied, nothing back after fourteen days, with the contact or the nudge to find one.

Jobs

The inventory, filtered. Every dimension is a chip: score floor, remote, location, title kind, pay band, status, source, company, pay range, stated pay only, posted or found within, score ceiling. The URL carries the filter set, so a filtered view is a link you can keep. Six default views come from your criteria (design engineering at the floor, new this week, remote at the floor, the stretch band, waiting on a reply, added by you); saved views live in Targets/Job Views.md. Jobs remembers the last set you used in this browser.

The job sheet: match reasons with points, the posting, the application packet, the tailored resume, the cover letter, the people on the thread, your notes. Shortlist and Pass while it is new; a status select after. Open posting, open in Obsidian, show the file, attach a posting.

Pipeline

A kanban of committed work only: reviewing, applying, ready, applied, interviewing, offer. New matches wait on Today. Drag a card, or focus one and move it with the keyboard. Every move is a status-log line on the note.

Statuses

new → reviewing (shortlisted) → applying (a packet in progress) → ready (drafted, waiting on you) → applied → interviewing → offer, with rejected and passed as exits. ready is the approval boundary: an agent can move a job that far and no further.
